1/02/09 – Chicago based Jessup Manufacturing announces additions to its professional
and amateur skateboard team. The team additions reflect Jessup Griptape’s commitment
to expand despite the recent economic downturns. Jessup Griptape is focused on adding
skateboarders from diverse styles and regions to its team.
The new pro team additions include: Colin McKay, Terell Robinson, Daxter Lussier,
Chris Dobstaff, and Don “The Nuge” Nguyen.
The new amateur team additions include: Dan Nepscha, Derek “Ghost” Burdette, Randy
Ploesser, Shaun P. Gregoire, Bryant “Cheddar” Chapo, Luis “Moose” De Los Reyes, and
Colin Hale.
All the new team members will be featured on Jessup’s website www.griptape.com. The
website will include photo, video and editorial content of all team members, as well a
new products and featured artists.
Jessup Griptape Sales Manager, Bud Smith, stated, “We’ve been working hard to expand
the Jessup Griptape team to include more top level pros and up and coming amateurs.
There are a lot of guys we have had our eye on for quite sometime. We will continue to
support skateboarding at its most grass roots level by expanding our team. ”
