After bailing an 540 air just after a flawless backflip rocket air over the gap, Danny Way clipped his feet n the lip of the quarterpipe at Thursday's X-Games contest at Staples Center, falling headfirst 27 feet down the face of the ramp.
Danny avoided serious injury, coming away with only minor bumps and bruises, and even managed to earn a silver medal (2nd place) later in the contest, returning to the top of the drop-in and executing a flawless run.
